This abandoned estate in Germany was a monastery in the 9th century. Then a string of noble families inhabited the castle: Wiprecht von Groitzsch, the house of Wettiner, knights of Querfurt and Selmenitz, family von Lichtenhayn and the counts von der Schulenburg.
